Missions Training

There are many ways to learn about missions. Seminars, DVD's, MP3 recordings etc... Another way is through formal training with a practical / hands on emphasis. Find a training school and apply yourself!

I have often felt that Business as a mission can be a way to reach the lost as well as "see a need / fill a need". I recently found a website called BAM - Business as mission. I believe all of us (Jesus followers) should be on mission 24/7. Missions isn't something we go on... it's something we live.

I just returned from the Philippines with a few other Jesus freaks :) We went to show and share the love of Christ in various ways. One of the guys is an amateur photographer. He found a way to use his passion for photography and art to reach a new generation. He started a photo ministry in order to bring hope to people who may have thought they were "destined" to live a life of poverty.

While the project is in the infant stages, it excites me to think of the possibilities of helping people with their current needs but also investing in their future.
